About Parijaat

Hi, I'm Parijaat. This Is Why I Made These.

I’m a computer engineer who started a soft toy brand. Which sounds random until you realize that engineering is all about solving problems—and the problem I wanted to solve was this: why do most toys feel… empty?

I grew up believing that objects could hold meaning. That stories mattered. That the things we keep close should actually mean something.

So I built Parijaat—not as a toy company, but as a storytelling project with a psychological backbone. Every character has a role. Gappu for curiosity. Mishti for comfort. Lulu for emotional release. Coco for mindfulness. Cherry for reflection.

They’re designed to do something. Not just sit on a shelf, but actually provide the kind of companionship we all need.

The name “Parijaat” comes from a flower in Indian mythology—a symbol of love, wonder, and timeless joy. It’s said to bloom at night and fill the air with magic. I wanted to capture that feeling. The idea that something small and soft could carry something profound.

We officially launched on June 9, 2025. We’re still young, still growing, and every buddy adopted helps us build this story together.

I’m building this brand to make a difference. To create toys that feel like friends. To prove that commerce and care aren’t opposites.

Thanks for being here.
